- Type: Course for Regional Award Representatives ("3rd level course").

Aim: Soft skills training for Gold Expedition Assessors.

Target group: Members of the expetion teams of Operating Authorities who would like to assess Gold expeditions.

Requirements:

Minimum age 21 years (Assisstant Assessors: 18 years);
-
First Aid Course (completed no more than three years ago);
-
Award Leaders Course & Award Management Course (Gold Award Holders: Award Leaders Course);
-
Wild Country Experience according to the German Wanderleiter or Wanderführer standard;
-
Profound acquaintance of a specific Wild Country Area;
-
Practical experience as a Trainer, Supervisor or Assessor in the Expeditions section at least on the Silver standard.

Duration: at least 5 days;

Accreditation Course: at least 2.5 days;
-
Induction Assessements: at least 2.5 days.

Renewal of accreditation: Every three years by
-
Evidence comprehended in the Gold Assessors Logbook;
-
Participating in the periodic Gold Assessors' conferences.

There are two diffent forms of the Gold Assessors Course

Modular form with the stages
-
Accreditation Course (extended form: exploration of a specific Wild Country Area included)

Coached practice in the framework of a venture in a Wild Country Area;

Compact form in the framework of of a venture in a Wild Country Area.
